Established in 1993 in response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic, Lily of the Valley originally served as a hospice for children in the KWAZULU-NATAL area, providing palliative care. With the advent of proper loving care and the accessibility of ARV’s, many children started to recover, leading to a shift in our focus from preparing them for death to preparing them for a future-filled life. As the children grew, their needs evolved, turning this short-term project into an ongoing initiative requiring continuous funding and assistance.  We extend our thanks to Global Children Foundation for their unwavering support of the children in our Village. The foundation is dedicated to aiding undernourished children by providing food to ensure they receive sufficient nutrients for healthy growth and development. The financial contribution from the Global Children’s Foundation significantly aids in providing nutritious meals to the children.
