Paraguay_Hanseung Ko 2025
South AmericaLocated in the rural village of Buqua in the San Pedro region of Paraguay, our school began in February 2018 with a Pre-K class and has added one grade each year. As of now, there are approximately 150 students enrolled, ranging from Pre-K to 6th grade. In 2025, the funds received from GCF were used for school meals, textbooks, school supplies, special class materials, and medical checkups for students. We strive to ensure that the meals provided at school are not different from what children eat at home, while also preparing nutritious menus that students truly enjoy. Thankfully, our students are maintaining a balanced level of academic achievement as they build healthy relationships and interact positively with one another. By purchasing all necessary materials for music and art classes, as well as general classroom supplies, we have been able to provide high-quality education. With GCF’s support, we are also able to cover expenses for children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum and those with ADHD. Even when we encounter students who are challenging to manage or cause disruptions, we continue to pray for them and strive to guide them on the right path. A teacher with a background in psychology provides after-school counseling and therapy to support these students. In addition, students actively participate in Christian education classes, and we also offer computer, ballet, and taekwondo lessons. The vision of Faith and Hope School is to plant faith in children’s hearts through God’s Word and to nurture them into workers who go out into the world with the hope of heaven.
BENDICIONES! ( God Bless you!)
