In the landfill village of Jukyty in Paraguay, a free soup kitchen called “Pot of Love ” opens every Saturday. Here, meals for 200 people are prepared weekly, providing warm meals to the local children. The children participating in this free meal program grow through the love of the Lord and develop into evangelists through the weekly desert worship services. They face continuous hardships such as poverty, ignorance, sexual violence, prostitution, homosexuality, and exposure to dangerous environments like drug abuse. Most of them were born out of wedlock without fathers, carrying the pain, anger, and resentment of life. We fervently pray that they find meaning and hope in the gospel, growing into spiritual leaders as soldiers of Christ in the future.
