The fact that these children can have a meal for free at our center is the same as resolving one of their biggest challenges of their day. The one lunch they receive in their day gives them the strength to live another day. Sadly, two children from remote villages lost their lives to parasites last year, so we are working on educating the parents and the children when they come into the center about keeping good hygiene when possible so we can avoid this tragedy in the future.
