Mauritania_Jinkeuk Jeon 2025

The ‘Family Plus Nutrition Program’, launched in partnership with GCF in 2024, serves malnourished children aged 3 to 5 in the impoverished PK12 district of Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania. In addition to supporting children suffering from malnutrition, the program also provides ongoing food assistance for other infants and young children within their families.  In the second half of 2025, we are continuing to support 60 families, including 60 children, as well as 10 children with disabilities who receive separate and continuous care. Through regular home visits, we meet and educate mothers with the goal of promoting balanced nutrition and healthy physical development for their children. Each week, we witness the children’s growth—their improving health, brighter expressions, and joyful smiles.  Together with GCF, we remain committed to creating a community where children can play freely, where no child suffers from hunger or illness, and where every child can dream and hope for a better future.
