During the “Diwali” festival in India, the air pollution level caused by the massive use of fireworks reached an alarming number — 999 — which is beyond the measurable limit of air quality monitoring devices.  With the support of Global Children Foundation (GCF), about 150 children gather daily at our two centers to receive nutritious meals and participate in spiritual activities such as worship, prayer, praise, and Bible memorization. They also receive help with their schoolwork and engage in various other learning activities.  Most of these children come from homes where parents are unable to care for them properly, and many once lived without any hope for the future. However, through the support of GCF, they have begun to dream again — to envision who they want to become when they grow up — and many have come to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord.  Even more thankfully, through these children, the gospel is being shared with their parents, and our work has become a positive and respected example within the local community.  We express our heartfelt gratitude to all the sponsors and supporters of Global Children Foundation for their prayers and faithful support, which enable our children to hold on to their dreams and live with hope despite the difficult and challenging environment.
