Kenya_Inho Choi 2025
AfricaHello, we are missionaries Inho Choi and Jiseon Han, serving in Korr, Kenya. Korr is located in the northern desert region of Kenya, where the climate is extremely dry. Rain usually comes in short, heavy bursts lasting about 20 minutes, and such rainfall occurs less than ten days a year. The people here belong to the Rendille tribe, who live as nomads, herding camels, goats, and sheep while moving for months in search of water and pasture. Although they still live much like people in the Neolithic era—building huts and living without toilets—they are joyful people who love God and help one another. We began our preschool feeding ministry because many children could only have one proper meal a day when they came to preschool. With the generous support of Global Children Foundation, we have been able to provide school meals to 17 village preschools each semester. Many children first came just to have lunch, but now they also learn numbers, the alphabet, and Bible verses. Recently, we were even able to supply Bible storybooks translated into the Rendille language, allowing the children to learn God’s Word in their mother tongue. In this barren land where there is little for children to enjoy, they can now eat nutritious meals and learn under the tin roofs of their preschools—nurturing bright and hopeful dreams for the future. We are deeply grateful to Global Children Foundation for making this possible.
