On February 6, 2023, a massive earthquake struck southeastern Turkey.
Now, nearly two years later, most aid and attention have faded away—but Global Children Foundation (GCF) has continued to show unconditional love for the children in the earthquake-affected areas, enabling the ongoing ministry to them.  A local Turkish worker, C, shared that while distributing relief supplies and sharing love with refugee families, people began to open their hearts and come to faith. As a result, they naturally began gathering for worship, leading to the planting of a new church.  Another worker, E, who established a church among Syrian refugees, expressed deep gratitude that, through GCF’s support, the children’s ministry has been able to continue steadily. He shared that many parents have started attending church through the influence of their children.  One child, A, said that she was thankful to be able to read the books and notebooks she needed thanks to GCF’s help. Another child shared proudly that she could bring home the bread and fruit she received as gifts from the church.  N, another student, expressed gratitude for receiving books, notebooks, and school supplies at a time when no one else seemed to care, saying it gave her the chance to keep studying.  Through this precious love and support, perceptions toward God and the church are slowly changing within the Muslim community.  We extend our heartfelt thanks to Global Children Foundation and to all the sponsors who have become channels of this amazing love.
