The main church is only able to help around 50 families at the moment. Twice a month, we purchase and deliver about $18 worth of food for each family. For this, we have contributed about 60%to 5-6 families with children for their daily food necessities. With our contributions, these families are able to receive a little relief from COVID-19, and can also begin planning their next steps such as looking for jobs, achieving financial stability, etc. Because of this newfound relief, the children no longer have to suffer severely from hunger and their parents are also now able to plan for their future needs. Many of these families do not have father figures, but the strong and resilient women of this country are able to raise the children on their own without the help of a father.
