We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the executives and families of Global Children Foundation (GCF) for their unconditional love and generous support for children in need.  Through GCF’s sponsorship, we have been serving children in Syria, Iraq, and Egypt. Three times a week, around 70 children participate in our educational program, where they are breaking free from illiteracy and rediscovering themselves as healthy and bright individuals. Thanks to GCF’s support, our children are able to enjoy special experiences such as going to the swimming pool once a year, taking field trips, and sharing delicious meals at hamburger restaurants.  We also make regular home visits to the children’s families. In particular, we identify families in the most difficult circumstances and provide food packages, milk, and diapers once a month to ten households. Common illnesses among refugee children include tonsillitis and various skin conditions, but with the help of our partner teachers, the number of children suffering from skin problems, allergies, and vitamin deficiencies has greatly decreased.  One of the most heartbreaking issues we face is seeing children working on the streets, delivering coffee or carrying water bottles to earn just a few dollars a day. In the past, it was common for girls to be married off at the age of 15 without completing their schooling. However, through consistent community engagement and public advocacy, we have been able to reduce such cases by more than 95%.  We are always deeply grateful for GCF’s partnership and love, but when we witness these changes and transformations firsthand, our gratitude grows even stronger.  Thank you so much for standing with us in God’s love.
