Global Children’s Foundation Concludes 2026 Annual Board Meeting in New York; Approves $720,000 Aid Plan for Children Worldwide
New York, NY — June 7, 2026 — The Global Children’s Foundation (Chair: Jo Angelin; President of the General Assembly: Kim Je-in) held its 2026 regular board meeting from June 5–7 at the Adria Hotel in New York. Fifteen board members and officers convened to finalize the Foundation’s 2027 budget and program plans.
The board selected sponsored partner organizations and approved a global aid allocation of $720,000 to be distributed through 58 partner agencies to support children in need around the world. These funds will prioritize nutritious meals, education, and mentoring programs for vulnerable children.
Founded in 1998 by 14 Korean-American mothers, the Global Children’s Foundation has grown to 24 branches with approximately 8,000 members. The Foundation’s mission is to bring hope to disadvantaged children worldwide by providing food, educational support, and positive guidance.
