In the Karatu region, limited resources and poor infrastructure have resulted in food insecurity, scarce livelihood opportunities, and deepening economic vulnerability. Access to safe drinking water and reliable electricity is unstable, and the lack of proper health and sanitation facilities exposes children to various diseases, making it difficult for them to maintain good health.  Through the support of GCF, remarkable improvements have been observed in students’ overall health and learning environment. Consistent and well-balanced nutritional support has strengthened children’s physical health and immune systems, enabling them to be more energetic and stable in their daily lives. This improved nutritional status has led to higher school attendance and better concentration in class, with noticeable increases in student participation and engagement.  Additionally, interactions between teachers and students have become smoother, creating a more positive learning atmosphere. This enhanced environment has had a meaningful impact on students’ academic performance and overall well-being.
