지난 1월 13일 서부 지역 총회를 샌디에고 에서 가졌다.
The Global Children Foundation had its western regional convention on January 13, 2018.
이번 서부지역 총회에는 이서희 총회장을 비롯하여 정경애 이사장, 이상연 부이사장, 유웬디 이사 , 김용임이사 및 4개 지부_ 라스베가스,엘에이,샌디에고,샌프란시스코 각 지부 회장과 회원들이 참가 하였으며 Rancho Bernardo Inn에서 70여명이 참석한 가운데 성황리에 열렸다.
The western regional convention was held at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, where 70 attendees along with general chairperson Seo-Hee Lee, executive chairperson Kyung-Ae Chung, vice executive chairperson Sang-Yeon Lee, executive member Wendy Yoo, executive member Yong-Im Kim with four other chapters, and chairpersons and members from Las Vegas, L.A., and San Diego participated.
특히 이번 총회에서는 지난2년간 서부지역을 성공적으로 이끌어 온 전영신 서부지역 회장을 이어 차기 서부지역 회장(2018년-2019년)으로 유승기 회장(샌디에고)이 취임하였으며 샌디에고 김정아 지부회장을 이어 배서희 신임회장의 취임식을 함께 하였다. 유승기 서부지역회장님과 서부지역 4개 지부 신임회장님들과 함께 비전을 나누는 시간도 갖었다.
During the convention, the attendees celebrated the following leaders’ inaugurations: Seung-Ki Yoo from San Diego as the new western regional chairperson and Seo-Hee Bae, the new chapter chairperson. Young-Shin Chun was the former western regional chairperson and Jung-A Kim was the former chapter chairperson. There was a moment to ensure their vision of the GCF with Seung-Ki Yoo, the new western regional chairperson, and four other chapter chairpersons.
안 아브라함 선교사의 치아파스 후원지 보고와 샌디에고 김정아 전 지부회장의 트럼프 대통령 봉사상 수여식도 함께 있었다.
There was also a testimonial report from missionary Abraham Ann in Chiapas, Mexico, and a volunteer award ceremony, which was granted to Jung-A Kim, the former chapter chairperson, from President Trump.
