The town of Karatu, located about two hours from the city of Arusha, is a small community where most residents rely on livestock farming for their livelihood. However, many families live without access to water or electricity, with only 50% of households enjoying basic living necessities. In this challenging environment, parents depend heavily on schools to provide their children with a safe and clean space to spend their time.

Our Christian School offers a safe, non-punitive environment where children can communicate freely and build friendships. Students look forward to attending school with joy, and in this nurturing atmosphere, they achieve both academic and emotional growth.

Thanks to the support of the Global Children Foundation, the provision of balanced meals has significantly improved the children’s health. A healthy diet has boosted their immune systems, resulting in fewer absences due to illness. The students have also shown increased collaboration and communication, leading to noticeable academic improvement. Recently, the school achieved excellent results in an inter-school soccer competition and recorded top academic performance across all schools in the Karatu.
