Southeast AsiaUnfortunately, with the combination of this year’s pandemic and poor weather conditions that have caused damage to property and human life, Cambodia has been experiencing indescribable difficulties.
Moreover, the 70 adopted children and their families in the leper village, who we are caring for, are suffering from poor nutritional status and lack of medications.
Hansen Village, itself, is at a level close to a lockdown because COVID-19 inflicts immense damage when transmitted to the families with leprosy.
Despite many the difficult circumstances due to the pandemic, we continued to support the adoption of children in leprosy villages of Cambodia, providing medical care while offering the resources for food, clothing, and study.
